Warranty Information
All Reliance Brand Locks come with a Limited lifetime mechanical warranty. This guarantees that the locks are free from all defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty lasts only while the original purchaser owns the product.
The locks also carry a five year finish warrant from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemical is not a defect and therefore is not cover by this warranty. This warranty lasts only while the original purchaser owns the product.
This warranty does not cover:
- Any defects caused by misuse, alteration or accidental damage.
- Scratches or abrasions.
- Products used on unsuitably designated constructs.
Customer is responsible for determining the suitability of our products for customer's use or resale, or for incorporating them into objects, or for applications which customer designs, assembles, constructs or manufactures.
sj imports ltd. does not assume any obligation other than the replacement or repair of the defective part or parts upon inspection, along with a proof of purchase during the warranty period. The company's maximum liability hereunder is limited to the purchase price of the products. The company is not liable for any labour charges, removal and reinstallation expense, freight or postage or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any defective product.
